The majority of Matlack Leasing’s trailer fleet is comprised of DOT 407 chemical trailers which may include added options to meet industry demand and customer specifications. New trailers are straight round with a MAWP of 30 PSI and a max loading temperature of 300 degrees F. Most DOT 407 tank trailers come insulated with steam heat capabilities and rear discharge. Customization, including vapor recovery, dip tubes, liquid level gauge, and tanks with an overfill protection system, may be added upon customer request.
